I am a senior type contractor and, as you might expect I have had to deal with a lot of scum-bag agents.
One in particular is a right con man and PIA. A few years ago he insisted on putting me forward for a role even though it clearly wasn't for me. I thought I had wriggled out of it till the idiot turns up in his polo and drives me to the interview.
The client and I had a good laugh at the interview which we spent looking through the blinds and taking the p1ss out of the gorp, sitting there in the car park.
Recently I got a job offer but was about to turn it down because the client always pays a year late. Gorp agent rings me up and offers the same job at 15% cut, I feigned disintrest and he went down to 10%, so I took it.
What a gorp.
