Massive police presence in London ... DCC Trotter
Detective Chief Constable Trotter said:
"It's extremely costly, there is no doubt about it. The budget is under enormous pressure and operationally there is pressure.
"But this is the biggest threat London has faced in peacetime and we have to throw all our resources into it right now. We will continue as long as it is necessary."
That was the BBCs editorial from DCC Trotter's original statement :
Detective Chief Constable Trotter said:
"There's no gettin' away wiv it 'cos it costs a right bomb bruv'. We're getting brassic and the old April's quivering somink cronic ...chateaux nurf du Pap as they'd say in France"
"But this is the most grief London's 'ad since Uncle Albert turned 18. It's all 'ands to the deck and we'll be there 'til the bitter end. He who dares 'n all that ... yea. Seen my Star Wars costume layin' about somewhere ?".
