That sounds far too ingenious to be a good idea. It's mixing business with the opposite of pleasure, or sthg.

I dont have a Co Sec anymore. If I did, you can bet yer boaby it would not be anyone with an 'ex' in front of their name.

Unless, you were to have a signed agreement with the CSA that the wage is an agreed representation in respect of any and all maintenance owed now and in the future, but then the takehome pay would probably have to be equivalent to the maintenance.

    how silly does that sound.....

It sounds like a stupid idea likely to result in misery. Ask yourself (or indeed us) who else is doing this and then ask why not.

BTW I don't pay Co Sec a penny.

When I looked into this initially, my Accountant said I could pay my Co Sec min wage. She will be doing things like filing etc, doing my expenses and paperwork etc.

One thing to factor in is how much do you trust your ex Mrs. I know somebody who paid his ex in cash to then let her claim various stuff from the generous state. She shopped him for not paying for years, he had no way of proving he had paid and got an astronomical bill form the CSA. It was quite a calculating nasty move from the ex as the kid was just about to hit 18 and the payments about to stop.
