LOL - a chap I know did that. Estate agent in the 80s boom - now in recruitment.

Some of the later day agents have never had to sell a house. Anyone can be an order taker, being a salesperson in a hard market is a whole different ball game.

There was no need to use an agent during the boom.

The Daily Telegraph disclosed last month that more than 1,000 estate agent branches had closed since the start of the year. The Centre for Economics and Business Research think-tank predicts that 15,000 agents will lose their jobs this year.

That's worth an 'Oh Dear' isn't it? No? Oh well...
