New economic indicator

I’m thinking of making up a new economic indicator based on the products being hawked in SPAM. I have noticed that there has been a big shift in the last week or so away from sexual performance products and towards fake qualifications.

I am not sure if this is a leading or lagging indicator; are spammers reacting or anticipating market needs?
