A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country.

Well, there's a very simple answer.

Nobody bothered to check the oil.

We just didn't know we were getting low.

The reason for that is purely geographical.

Our OIL is located in The North Sea

Our DIPSTICKS are located in Westminster

    Any Questions ???
    NO? I didn't think so.

I've recently swapped to a Hyundai Getz diesel. It does 50 mpg if I'm careful, £35 to tax, bugger all to insure and I still get 109 bhp and 173lb/ft to play with.

Admittedly it makes me the subject of mockery but there's other things I'd rather be spending money on than getting to work.

I've always avoided 'little' cars as I wouldn't want to hit or be hit by something bigger, but if everyone had one then I guess it would be ok... wouldn't it??

Or... I would hate any of my mates to see me driving such a girly car but if they all had one.
