For those of you familar with The Barleycorn in West Didsbury

One of the bar staff there was a huge U2 fan (and a mincing great faggot*). Everynight we went we'd have to put up with 4 or 5 U2 ballads blasting out of the juke box.

Eventually I refused to go there anymore and so ended up spending more to get pissed at the Woodstock

(*nothing against gay people, its just the mincing I can't stand)

And every time he claps his hands his own furtune grows that little bit more. Charity starts at home with some and with Bono the bulk of it stays there also.

    started a topic U2

    U2

Bono is famous throughout the entertainment industry for being more than just a little self-righteous.

At a recent U2 concert in glasgow he asked the audience for total quiet.

Then, in the silence, he started to slowy clap his hands, once every few seconds. Holding the audience in total silence, he said into the microphone, 'Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies'

From the front of the crowd a voice with a broad wegie accent pierced the quiet....

"Well, f£$%kin stop doin it then, ya evil bast£$d!'

Working...
