    Turns out they are saying fathers should be forced to pay for their children. Absolute no brainer if you ask me but I would have liked to see some measures to force mothers to integrate separated fathers with their children...
    Family courts summed it up by interpretting the 1989 Children Act line 1 from "the interests of the child shall be paramount" to "the interests of the child are aligned with the interests of the mother and shall be paramount".

    I spent years helping Matt O'Connor trying to galvanize men into action - but with little success. I hope the next group along have more luck.

    What they really want is for the State to take on the role of both parents.
