    Of all the future doomsday scenarios, it seems to me by far the most likely is a crazed "green" biochemist developing and releasing a deadly virus designed to wipe out a large proportion of humanity or all of us, on the grounds that humans are a plague on the natural order or some such carp.

    P.S. I don't know if the plague in the film was man-made, and perhaps this is never addressed.
