    They make movies & pictures look nice when you're in a darkened room.

    And that's about it.

    Trying to match the colour reproduction from the screen on my iMac to the printer is a complete PITA.

    If I wanted to admire my reflection, I'd buy a mirror coz it's cheaper...

    Didn't we suffer this sort of crap in the 80s until everything came with a non reflective coating so you could read the sodding thing?
