    Except The Stone Roses who they hated the first time around but retrospectively loved when the album was reissued and became a success. I have no respect for any magazine who puts the Spice Girls on the front cover!

    Makes you nostalgic for the Melody Maker, now there was a proper music paper.

    I check NME occasionally to get wind of new bands, but they're a bunch of pr1cks in my opinion.

    Any band that gets any kind of success becomes by default a band to be loathed. Got sfa to do with the music half the time. It's like they never pregressed beyond the spotty teen phase.
