Italian cats are almost all fat. Mine was 12kg. Of course, they benefit from great food leftovers.

Mine would have not even got close to any british meal leftover.

If the food was any good, there wouldn't be any leftovers!

gf has put both our cats on Hills Science Dried low fat food only. One cat now perfect weight - but the fat cat is still well overweight.

Cat is too timid to get food from elsewhere - I guess it is the mice/birds/frogs/pigeons he eats.

Plus he had a squirrel once - doubt that will ever happen again...
