South East already gets an awful lot of its electric power from France.

Or practically all the former soviet and satellite countries. Apparently the Albanians, maybe another country, actually went as far as giving map reading courses at the prisons, and repeat offenders were given a map and a choice: either read the map correctly to find your way away from here or receive a bullet.

If this nuclear deal involves building the power stations in northern France ("because they have more room" or some such carp), it's game over for British independence from the EU or even France.

We'll be like that goth's g/f, in the paper the other week, who he only allows out wearing a dog lead held by himself.

    Entente Formidable

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7315649.stm

Gordon Brown has announced a series of measures to deepen and strengthen Britain's ties with France saying he wanted an "Entente Formidable".
The two countries will hold regular summits and step up cooperation on immigration, defence and the economy.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy also hailed a new era of friendship - but said Britain still needed to play a fuller role in the EU.
Does this include coming to an agreement about "the British cheque" and the CAP?

Working...
