I get that too but not just object D'art... just a sudden urge to smash something.

Know what you mean - likewise for me its purely a mental event - I dont have to physcially resist the urge to smash the object - but its strange all the same - what can it mean ?

A subconcious rejection of bourgeousie values or just plain good old fashioned vandalism ?

That's why I found the film "Borat" so funny (and cringeworthy) - the scene in that antiques shop was hilarious!!!

I must admit I have a penchant for when I see a small Objet D'Art - especially a very delicate porcelain antique item - I have a great urge to immediately smash it to bits with a mallet - strange eh ?
