Well yeah, here's a couple:

He's against the war in Iraq.

He's for some for of universal 'affordable' health care plan.

How different is that from McCain or Clinton. They have one or two big headliners as well. Reverse the question and ask of the rest of the field and it's not so different.

I agree. It should never be forgotten how much Blair lied, especially after promising to be 'whiter than white' in his post-election day speech and also saying that they would not raise taxes. He brought politics into far more disrepute than any other UK politician in history. New Lie have been shown to be nothing but 'champagne socialists', even more so in view of the latest expenses scandals.
Hopefully, we shall see some return to honesty with a new Tory government, if they get the chance.

For who? You can only vote for politicians. If enough people stay on their arses and not vote, then the message might get through that we need better politicians.

In this country anyone can try to become MP - total number of votes to win is not that high, so people should vote for people then.

FWIW, I've seen Hilary on Letterman a couple of times before the campaign, and was very impressed with her. I thought she was a genuinely intelligent politician with some substance, who would do good things if she gets to be president. Unfortunately I don't think we're seeing the best of her in the campaign; she's having to play politics. If Obama wins (which I suspect he will), we'll realise that he's not good at anything other than the campaign, and we'll have another "W".
