However the actions in the West have given an excuse to those extremists in the Muslim world to create this situation. Going back to Sbrenica; the biggest post war massacre in Europe; supposedly under the protection of the UN. So we did n't make an effort to protect Muslims. Then the bombing of Afganhanistan and that War. OK may indeed have been as a response to 9/11 but again a Muslim country. Then Iraq; which it has pretty well been shown to have been justified by lies; falsehoods and pretty poor intelligence. Again a Muslim country.
The immigration system in this country is so porous it has allowed people who have used the West's (read Judeo/Christian world) failure to protect Muslims while attacking them as a pretext to say Islam is under attack.
And lets not forget. The first suicide bomber in this country was during Tony Blair's premiership. (he has also fought more wars than any other premier since the 19th century fighting 5 in 6 years)

"Erm.... this is the first of its kind on British soil. The AQ website claimed it was as a result of the attacks in Afghan & Iraq."
That's just as sincere as Bush saying that they attacked Iraq for bringing democracy.

Erm.... this is the first of its kind on British soil. The AQ website claimed it was as a result of the attacks in Afghan & Iraq.
More importantly, this is the view of dissaffected Muslims who are the ones that will commit this kind of attack, so for this reason alone we are now much more at risk than we were before Adolf Blair went on his crusade.
Please take your head out of the sand/your arse and see what is happening.

Did anyone see the bunch being interviewed on Breakfast this morning?
They started out with condemnation and disgust of terrorism.
Then the interviewer suggested that they, as British citizens, should have allegiance to our country first and foremost.
One squared up to the interviewer aggressively saying he was just as British as him - then went on justifying why after thousands of Muslims were killed in Iraq that 50 British dead meant nothing in comparison.
He then said that he didn't see why thousands of British shouldn't be killed. Hmmm - showing his true colours methinks.
I would say that you just can't trust the muslim community - way too many mixed messages coming out of there.
Then again he blamed Blair for the attack, and I suppose ultimately you can trace it back to him so I agree with that. Thanks for making us more safe, Tone.

why does nobody ever mention hindu's or sikh's when talking about asains. For a start hinduism is where the roots of buddhism lie...
