Bad parents fuel crime says mayor
Many parents fail to raise their children with a sense of right and wrong, the mayor of London has said.
When questioned by MPs, Ken Livingstone said schools were increasingly having to instil a "moral code" in children.
He said Margaret Thatcher's government had helped create a generation of selfish people.

He is right about lack of parenting - but to blame Maggie is unbelievable. It is the failure of the Liebour government to implement the 1996 Children's act (and to allow the so-called family courts to turn its meaning on its head) which has lead to lack of Fathers within families.
Even Boris would be better than Ken - but hopefully the English Democrat candidate will win.
