    I saw him have a real howler against St Mirren then be really impressive next time out. A bit up and down but more ups than downs so far. I think we have the option of letting him go back to City at the end of the season if it does not work out. So far the jury is still out but he has made a decent start. He is still fairly young too so might develop.

    Well he was fine in the Dutch Top flight, and also in the Scottish thus far. It was only at City where he looked pedestrian. Maybe City don't get the chance to attack enough to suit the game of someone like Samaras? Still, at least you have Vassell.................does he come with his own zimmer frame?

    To be fair he has a lot of ability, it didn't help that we had that clown pearce as a manager who in his wisdom thought Samars could be a left winger! I hope he does well, but not good out for one of Europes big three leagues.

    It's my favourite programme on TV by quite some distance. Along with Match of the Day, it's the only thing I religiously watch nowadays.

    I didn't think last night's was quite as good as previous episodes in the series actually, but still a lot better than any other comedies at the moment.
