It annoys me that Wilmslow is held up by those in the South as 'the' place to be, its horrible. The best areas in Manchester/Cheshire are Hale, Bowdon, Prestbury and Alderley Edge. Wilmslow is full of awful shops and is invaded by an army of chavs at weekends. Avoid.
