    I used the same tactic with a young fit cleaner who was a friend of a friend. She lasted all of two weeks before the (then) missus clocked her and decided we didn't really need one.

    If she's planning a home birth, I'd leave the bed making for a while.

    All my missus wanted was sleep, so go and buy her some (very expensive - not the cheap Tesco's tat) Egyptian cotton linen. Oh and make the bed yourself. 5 min job but it will buy you many late passes out after the birth. Sorted.
