    The best of luck Newbee.

However, just so that you're aware of the market, 3-5 years experience in a PMO role isn't going to get you a PM gig.

    What's your personal experience of:

being the budget holder (and how much)
    stakeholder management
being personally responsible for delivery (not just tracking a plan)
    Offshoring
    3rd party management
    PM methodologies
    PM tools
What industry are you from; what industry are you looking to contract in?

If you give me a clue on some of these, happy to help out with some advice.

Stop slating women and branding them to be of PA stature.

A junior PM is a glorified PA/secretary and this job is done by the PMO. Never heard of a bloke wanting to be Jnr PM, but then again you are not a bloke (referring to newbee, not Troll obviously!)

First off.... what kind of role and project?

This is likely to affect the rest of the q's.

what do you normally do? If this is different, either blag well, or say why the change.

what do YOU understand the role to be? Job spec?

C'mon - don't expect everyone to do all the work for you; you're supposed to be a contractor now.
