London is massive. There are 33 London Boroughs so you could live in an inner city ****hole or in a nice green area like me.

Well, good thing I don't live in London. Not that I would have liked if Ken was not there, it's just not the city for me.

Most people decide nearer the election time.Originally posted by AtW View PostDo you think Boris (not the "bullet dodger" one) will beat him?
If Boris keeps his nose clean, doesn't offend lots of London's population and actually comes up with some policies that don't alienate them, and doesn't promise to overturn Ken's travel policies then he has a chance..
Ken has been very clever giving free travel to kids - getting the family vote - and promising OAPs, who are more likely to vote, seemingly free travel* 24 hours a day.
*Paid for out of the council tax. That tax that takes up lots of OAP's income.

Do you think Boris (not the "bullet dodger" one) will beat him? The fact that Ken drinks is beyond the point (unless it affects his work) - Churchill indeed drunk and smoked, but he was a great man who would not cuddle up with Chaves piece of crap as well as other scumbag politicians from 3rd world countries.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostThe first time it was to annoy Nu Labour. The next time I don't have a clue......may be because the rest of the candidates where boring or more crooked.

I get to vote in the London Mayoral election. I wasnt going to bother... but now I am going to vote for whomever has the best chance of beating Livingstone.
Who is that.. the bumbling blonde guy.. or the person who is always just the 'other one'

Chillax (sick with a not so silent k), it's only a matter of time before there's a government funded study suggesting it's healthier to put whisky on your cornflakes than milk.
I'm in the process of seeking funding for such a study. I'll only do single malts though.

C is Hitler.
BTW, Hugo Chavez is not a dictator. He may be a bit left wing for some tastes, but he is democratically elected.
