2 good ones in Soho:
Sri Thai on Old Compton Street
Patara on Greek Street. (Patara has a few other branches around town too).

I often stop at Cool Monkey in Holland Park on my way home. Small, friendly, tasty and reasonably priced. Much better than the two Thai places on Kensington High St.

My wife (who is a lot fussier than I am) likes Suchard - Google should give you the address.
Ambience is far from posh, prices are cheap, but food is good. Just across the river from the City, much closer to Tower Bridge than London Bridge, if you're walking.

No idea about London but found a fab one in Kings Cross in Sydney. I forget the name, it was on the main road just past the crazy fountain and had an indoor pagoda and cost a fortune, best Thai meal I ever hadOriginally posted by Lucy View PostAny recommendations?
My Sydney fave is Thai Pothong, been there for 20 years that I know of and seats 200 people and is full Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights...
