That sounds like all the office parties I've ever been to. With the small exceptions of the gender ratio being reversed, and the people being well butters instead of tick.

But I'd guess (Maybe way off the mark) that quite a few of them were there in the hope that they'd manage to hook a prem player, that's what I'd call a gold digger - I can even see where it comes from, the celeb mags are full of WAGS and they're as venerated as celebs who've actually got some talent these days. I find that pretty unappealing - but maybe I'm wrong in my assumptions (Wouldn't be a first) and they're innocent lassies just out for a good time, no sex , no agendas.

Back in the day, the most beautiful girls in the land were invited to audience with the princes.
Women flock in their thousands to any do with Hollywood stars there.
The prettiest girls get into VIP areas in clubs.
This do was about: -
Seeing the Man U players in the flesh
Being at the hippest do of the year!
Rubbing shoulders with celebs!
Walking into a do with the paparazzi outside!!
Plus the one in a million chance that one of the man u players will see you, drop dead in his tracks, fall madly in love with you and make you his new WAG.
I completely understand why every one of them were there!
The term gold-digger...I guess anyone wanting to land a husband is. This term is a very debatable topic, and I'm not sure what side I'd be on to be fair (I'd imagine most lasses on here with their own companies/own careers dispise those tiny waisted, big titted fannies who totter around getting their drinks bought for them. GET JOBS YOU SILLY TARTS!!! <breathe>)
but the topic of these lasses being at the do cause they're slags asking for it for the chance of a kiss and tell story...I just fnid that appaulling.

Some woudl be up for that, but not all or even most of them.
Lasses aren't all slags - they're not even slags if they go to a club full of footballers. They're just lasses out for a good time - which is very different to the way you blokes see a "good time".
