The wife was a nutter, but was the husband a mute ? He seemed very reluctant to speak

Tell me about it ! I've had buyers pull out on 2 houses, one about 20 hours before completion, one yesterday that was due to complete this week. I've managed to resell the more important ( expensive ) one to a cash buyer within 2 days for a good price but the buyer is making worryingly keen reassurances pre completion, so I'm worried. The one yesterday is a knackered old terrace that we had a mug BTLer buying but finance issues held things up and in the end circumstances have let him off the hook. Now trying to decide if I should flog it cheap to a cash buyer or ruin my next bench time by doing it up.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostIn the boom you can buy any place, paint it luminous green with orange stripes, sit back and still make a huge profit.

And yet they still didn't want to move out...Originally posted by zeitghost View PostDid anyone catch this week's Beeny?
With the two lunies who decided to extend their house downwards?
Classic stuff...
I loved the bit where she told them to stay in a hotel for a couple of days in case it fell down & killed them...

I thought the wife was a fruit cake! (was she a lot older than him?)
Loved the way she started stamping her feet when Beeny mentioned the 20's 30's - 80's style influences on her decoration
Bit dissapointing Beenys assets were kept so under wraps....must have been cold
