I bought a lot, clothes, jewlery, trainers, jeans, lots of Molton Brown stuff as xmas presents that stuff really cheap out there. Did the Empire State 102 floor, rip off at £35 to go to the top but a one off, saw the Macy Thanks Giving paraid, went to Philidelphia, ran up the Rocky steps did lots in short space.
F00kin knackered now, landed at Heathrow at 7am this morning, was at desk by 10am, currently being powered by caffine, want bed

I'd suggest anything which would probably not break as taking it back might be a tad expensive. Stick with clothes etc and you can't go far wrong. When I used to travel out there I used to pack a small amount of work clothes and that was it. For jeans I'd just head off to the shops and buy new. For a pair costing £50 you can usually find them for about $50, making them less than £25.
I also know somebody who did a roaring trade in guitars. Basically it comes down to the same thing. What we pay in £ they pay in $, so with the exchange rate you can get them for about half price. Then he would flog it on this side of the pond.
I'm off to the US tomorrow, any advice of what is good to buy out there at the moment considering good exchange rates and things are generally cheaper there, must have toys that you cant get in the Uk .. ? .. ?
