Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.

Yeah the Valiant comics were great, weren't they. Captain Hurricane
When I was a nipper I read the Valiant comic, which had Captain Hurricane. He would always get into a tight scrape against the germans until something upset him, and he’d get into something called a ragin’ fury and thrash them to all parts and win the day.
Looking back at him as a role model, tens of thousands of kids learned that all you need to do to win at anything is lose your temper.Tags: None
