I'm surprised Mr Smith didn't wrap his mic stand round the bingo caller's neck. Last time I saw them he kept unplugging Brix's amp. I saw the Verve in 1993 suporting the smashing pumpkins. This was before they became a pop band, they were quite good back then

I saw Richard Ashcroft at the IOW festival in 2006, he was very good but kept going on about David Cameron and how we shouldn't believe his tulips, he failed to come up with a reasonable alternative though.
