Immigration in itself is not the problem. The problem is that it is uncontrolled and not selective enough. The whole concept would be greatly enhanced if we could have some kind of trading agreement whereby we could absorb those that contribute whilst simultaneously expunging all the benefit-scrounging parasites that we are overrun with!!
Fact is the country would collapse without immigration. The NHS certainly would. The City would not be as dynamic without the global synergy that occurs when many nationalities work next to each other.
Problem is different groups contribute differently, and some not at all.
That fact needs to be acknowledged.
