    House prices may go up but if inflation goes up even more then you are fecked.

    I am anticipating a phoney crash. The rates will drop 5% or so stupid money will pile in and prop up the market for a few months while repos go through the courts then the real correction of another 10% will come.

    but dig a little deeper and you will see that when you ask people where houses will be in 10 years they almost all believe the prices will have risen.
    of course they will have risen, 10 years is plenty enough time for a crash and recovery
