6 months new contract, new part of the same project, rate increase, option of a 6 month extension at the end (at least).
Gotta love public sector!

I've got this contract from last June until next March or April. That's long enough, surely?

I've got a couple of months to go before my current extension ends just before Christmas.

On Monday morning I was requesting days off around x-mas. After getting it approve I asked the boss-woman if I should start looking for a new gig from Jan 1. And she promptly replied "Definately NOT!!!"
So I got extended as well this week. Just don't know for how long - most likely to the end of April. Might be time for a long summer vacation after that
