I have a Barclay's Premier account and I don't think it is worth the £10 a month bank charges.

A few years ago Premier had its own local team in Cheltenham and I didn't have to queue with the rest went straight upstairs, was dealth with straightaway and was given a cup of coffee. Now when I want to see anybody in Barclays I have to pick up a number like any other customer and wait for it to be called out.

Three years ago I put some money away in a Premier share account which was due to mature last month and my local Barclays cannot give me any information about this account. Its a bit of a shambles and I am thinking of transferring my account to The Bank of Cyprus

I looked at this when we ended up with a Barclays account. I can't see what the benefit is. It costs you £120 a year and doesn't seem to offer much more than a lot of standard accounts (unless I missed something obvious).

Ditto HSBC and Lloyds. except HSBC don't charge I think?

I would like to find someone that offers a true premier account with some proper contractor benefits. Coutts won't accept me yet!
