Nothing like volvo estate... demands respect from other cars on the street (even if driven by a dumb blonde like me ... errr or should I say especially if driven by some one like me ??

There's a new hire car out in Portugal. It's small,
and if you can't get all your kids inside you can
fit one in the boot. It's called the Renault McCann

Skip the mpv, and try a 5 series tourer. My mate got rid of his Zafira and got a 51 reg 530. Loads more room for holidays with 3 kids all needing car seats.Originally posted by reginald View PostCan anyone recommend an mpv with enough room for 3 child seats across the back ? Anything except the Xsara Picasso its f______ horrible.
Or a current shape Disco. Lovely.

Isn't there a Honda (something)RV which has 3 seats in the front and 3 in the back too, like the Multipla? Google is your friend.

Failing the excellent Citroen Xsara Picasso ("Car of the Year" according to Jezzer C), try the Multipla. Yes, it's a Fiat, so it will fall apart (our one has), but it does the job. Plus, 3 seats in the front as well, so you could have 5 kids in it.

Mrs Flubster has a Picasso until recently, when she wrote it off. Vastly improved it.
