    A grown moose will burp and pass so much methane gas in the course of a year that it amounts to 2,100 kilos of carbon dioxide emissions.

    Newspaper VG reported that a motorist would have to drive 13,000 kilometers in a car to emit the same.
    Clearly what is needed here is a new tax!

    Slightly off subject:

    There was a BBC24 news story on the decline of the Inuit’s hunting grounds as the ice caps were melting, they had something like 6x the average suicide rate and the rest were all on drink and drugs, not one of them thought about moving and getting a proper job.
