The Movie of Our Life, starring richard-af & Troll
In the movie of our life,
starring you and me.
CUK is in for a treat,
wait until they see.
The stage is all ours,
so let's put on a good show.
We act these roles so well,
but they will never know.
Andyw seems out of date,
el duder and Helios got old.
Baby they have nothing on us,
so let our story be told.
We write romance posts,
like forever had no end.
It all comes so natural,
with an amazing girlfriend.
We've only gotten started,
the end is far from now.
Nothing can break us up,
not even a broken vow.
People watch the notebook,
is that all CUK's got?
Girl, you and me alone,
make those posts look hot.
They'll make a thread one day,
and a sticky to go with it.
Just get us to act it out,
It would be the greatest hit.
We may never be CUK's hottest,
Let-Me-In and Causus Deli will be in the past.
It will last as long as their careers,
but baby you and I will forever last.

Who will buy this beautiful morning ?
Such a sky I never did see.
Who will tie it up with a ribbon
And put it in a box for me ?
So I can see it at my leisure
Whenever things go wrong,
I would keep it as a treasure,
To last my whole life long.
Who will buy this wonderful feeling?
I'm so high, I know I could fly.
Me, Oh my ! I don't want to lose it....
There must be someone who will buy
So I can see it at my leisure
Whenever things go wrong,
I would keep it as a treasure,
To last my whole life long.
Who will buy this wonderful feeling?
I'm so high, I know I could fly.
Me, Oh my ! I don't want to lose it....
But what am I to do,
To keep the sky so blue....
There must be someone who will buy ..........

Ta-ta CD,
You just wouldn't give it a rest.
And that's why no-one misses you,
Now you've gone west.

Ok here is another on behalf of Alf
Love and Harmony (William Blake )
Love and harmony combine,
And round our souls entwine
While thy branches mix with mine,
And our roots together join.
Joys upon our branches sit,
Chirping loud and singing sweet;
Like gentle streams beneath our feet
Innocence and virtue meet.
Thou the golden fruit dost bear,
I am clad in flowers fair;
Thy sweet boughs perfume the air,
And the turtle buildeth there.
There she sits and feeds her young,
Sweet I hear her mournful song;
And thy lovely leaves among,
There is love, I hear his tongue.
There his charming nest doth lay,
There he sleeps the night away;
There he sports along the day,
And doth among our branches play.

Not the Friday Poetry Corner
OK not Alf or Chico ..
here is one in memory of Chico and in the spirit of recent disorder on this board:
1 Corinthians 1
Divisions in the Church
10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters,[c] by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 11 For some members of Chloe’s household have told me about your quarrels, my dear brothers and sisters. 12 Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.” Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Peter,[d]” or “I follow only Christ.”
13 Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul, crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the name of Paul? Of course not! 14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 for now no one can say they were baptized in my name. 16 (Oh yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas, but I don’t remember baptizing anyone else.) 17 For Christ didn’t send me to baptize, but to preach the Good News—and not with clever speech, for fear that the cross of Christ would lose its power.Tags: None
