Some great stuff listed here, although I'd never heard of any of them before.

By comparison my favourite was as tame as, er, a very tame sleeping thing, and I'm too embarrassed to mention it now.

Garry Bushell (he of The Sun) was (allegedly) in "Gal Bushell and The Gonads" in the late 70s.

That band was responsible for delights such as, "Hitler Was A Homo" and "I'd Love To F--k You Sandra, But I'm Bursting For A Sh1te". Lovely.
