I believe this is the eminent prof that was being quoted.

If you do not like this source you can, as I did, check out his credentials and work.

I try. But the insomnia is more a result of my lousy cold. Last weekend I had a garden party for a few friends and although I didn't make it clear some unannounced brought their diseased offspring. Said things passed on germs without permission, I will be revising my friends list accordingly. It was totally unforgivable and one can only hope that the orphanage will profit soon.

Can't argue with that can you.

    Yes you can.

Walking uses energy and to get the energy back you eat. Food production in this country is so energy-intensive that it actually produces more CO2 than the equivelent of getting in the car and driving to the shop.

Here it is the Middle class ideal of the car.

Take disposable v reusable nappies. Again Disposables use up only a small amount of the landfill in this country but the detergents used to clean the reusable ones is far more damaging and indeed some detergents have been linked to falling fertility in men.

Here it is again the Middle Classes that are the target. They do not want to clean smelly nappies so disposable nappies were born.

The AGW bandwagon is nothing more than class warfare, that is too dishonest to show itself.

Even if you look at the way Education is being dumbed down (meaning nobody has the knowledge to question the cr*p being spouted) it is an attack on the ideal that one should better oneself.
Disposable nappies were/are for the middle classes. those middle class people must be the ones dropping them at the side of roads/public areas. That was top quality ranting bullsh1t in the cuk tradition!

    Genuine LOL

You spent 38 mins in the pub? Very short visit with your mates then.

I was going to correct you there - but objective is more appropriate.
