A Newbie Writes...
I am a new kid on the Contractor block - yet already I share the old-timers' anger and nausea at HMRC, and other such types!
Island lose*; the Jones' win**.
It has to be said afresh: what the f--- is OUR tax service (sic) playing at? 4 years of suffering for the Jones', and, to a lesser extent, for the small business community, too.
The logic of constantly seeking to cripple a workforce that society and businesses NEED and WANT is just utterly, utterly mad... and, it seems, nasty... and, of course, costing the UK tax payer (Oh! The irony of it!) a mint.
* (and what a sh1tty, sh1tty pair of sh1ts Spring & STW are)
** (hooray!)

At least if they have to redraft they cannot back date it and it has to go through the HoC - for what use that is.

Why will the government have to redraft legislation? After all, its not like this is a precident or anything!

I expect that they will now redraft the legislation. Or maybe not given the recent IR win on that IR35 case based on really dodgy grounds.
Good news if it is true
