    hmmmmmmm. Unusual.
But if you have always wanted to watch two blind dwarfs fight over a dead pig, this is the film for you.

    Midnight Express

Just seen a worrying review of this on the LoveFilm website, from Garry in Milton Keynes:

I was forced to watch this film and feel deeply diturbed by its great violence and violence, but i especially liked the violence in this film

    unconvincing

well - I thought it was great, maybe not quite as good as Goodfellas.
Horses head bit - what I found unconvincing was how the chap somehow managed to sleep until morning despite being drenched in horse blood. And the bit where Sonny duffs up the wifebeating man was laughably staged.

    Agreed - as is Scarface.

Carlitos Way, on the other hand, is deservedly held in high regard.

Ah man, that brings back memories of the summer it was released.
Excellent move with a brilliant soundtrack.

Slight change of movie style, and not to sound pompous, but watched a couple of foreign movies recently - they had good reviews so searched them out. Recommended viewing (catch them before the Hollywodd re-makes come out next year).

Cracking movie - up there with the likes of Lock Stock etc

Essex Boys is quite good too if you like gangster flicks... It's a bit harder hitting though.

are they good? I might put them on the list.

my problem is I'm going to a wedding this weekend, and I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from going up to the bride's father and saying "Thank you for inviting me to your daughter's wedding...on this, the day of your daughter's wedding. May their first child be a masculine child"
