well - I thought it was great, maybe not quite as good as Goodfellas.
Horses head bit - what I found unconvincing was how the chap somehow managed to sleep until morning despite being drenched in horse blood. And the bit where Sonny duffs up the wifebeating man was laughably staged.
Recently saw "Train Spotting" for the first time and thought it was brilliant!
Ah man, that brings back memories of the summer it was released.
Excellent move with a brilliant soundtrack.
Slight change of movie style, and not to sound pompous, but watched a couple of foreign movies recently - they had good reviews so searched them out. Recommended viewing (catch them before the Hollywodd re-makes come out next year).
my problem is I'm going to a wedding this weekend, and I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from going up to the bride's father and saying "Thank you for inviting me to your daughter's wedding...on this, the day of your daughter's wedding. May their first child be a masculine child"
