Yesteday I had a call from a gentleman claiming to be from CWJobs saying he's doing a survey and wanted to know if I had many responses from the website, I said yes loads and I said I've just started a contract.
He says 'Oh really, so who was that with'
I told him the agency name not the client name as at this point, I clocked on to the 'cor blimey geezer' accent and the strange interest in the company I have started work for. Plus he tried to have some banter with me about where I live which sounded suspiciously like an agent fishing.
Are these new or standard tactics?
