The US Military have just constantly undermined their own position in Iraq, and have been undermined on the basis of very 3rd rate planning and 4th rate policy by the current US administration.

It's all very well for us accepting the fact that Military men do the most brutal things often in error, often in war, often because they are scared, so the US administration should stop saying they come on a higher or more noble or more moral platform, they have evolved to be just the same as the men the seek to destroy. Killing a civilian is still killing a civilian whether you are dressed in rags or a 101 airborne uniform, the civilian is still dead, what clothes you wear and what supposed god you worship is irrelevant to the victim, they are dead.

yet I hasten to add , the same cannot be said of the British Army who for the most part have behaved impeccably in the domestic situation of Iraq.

I'm extremely happy to share my deep and most innermost thoughts on the US policy on Iraq.

    any questions ? fire away.......

Most of the time I post comments, not my own views.
This generates either a debate or a response. Both of which are interesting.
My own personel mind set is exactly that, "Mine".

They do it to themselves and the world stands by.
Somebody else does it to them and the world cries out.
It shouldn't happen, but it does, and has since the beginning of warfare.
When a young man gets the bloodlust, and see's civilisation being destroyed around him. he will revert. and when a group of men revert, the pack mentallity sets in.
Strong leadership isn't always enough to stop it, this is how the term fragging came about.

Since the beginning of time when armies first come about there has been systematic rape pillage and murder. With the coming of cinema newsreels like Pathe were able to turn war reports into stories of how well Tommy is when in fact if you listen to Tommy being honest and open these days he admits that there was much rape pillage and murder by the British Army in WW2.

If you look at the rowdy young kids beating the hell out of each other on a Friday night, just imagine what they would get up to if they were given a uniform, guns and a licence to kill.

The fact is ; put a bunch a thugs from any country in uniform and they will act the same.

the surrender monkeys believe in their case as much as the neocons beleive their case is the correct one - but I know I'd rather the suicide bombers where over there trying to fight an "occupying" army than over here blowing up tube trains - we just get the sloppy seconds that can't even blow a car up properly.

disturbing , yet expected and sadly believable stuff.

This magazine along with http://www.fair.org/index.php are very good non-fox, non CNN sources of information, and as such are unlikely to contain the voodoo news that Mailman gulps down with each and every supersize slush mac-puppy blueberry....

According to the Daily Mail U.S. soldiers 'are murdering Iraqi civilians in cold blood'
The report comes as it emerged that former foreign secretary Jack Straw warned Tony Blair before the Iraq invasion that Saddam Hussein posed less of a threat than other "axis of evil" states.
