    Ok. A similar question to which fit people might know the answer.

    Back in the 70s people would say 'I'm going for a jog'. Nowadays hardly anybody says that, but lots of people say 'I'm going for a run'.

    are people now just using the word 'run' to mean exactly what 'jog' did, or in today's hectic world are they actually travelling faster than they used to? A bit like how the average lunch hour has shrunk.
