The war drums for Iran have been beating for several months now and are getting louder as the days go by.

While Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon is a concern, why is Israel allowed to have nuclear weapons.

The problem with the US and the West is a subjective arms policy regarding it's ally Israel and the rest of the countries in the region!

People may not like Americas way but do we want them on the outside of the tent p*ssing in when things go Pete Tong in the Middle East? Remember, those crazy Muslims hate us just as much as they hate US and Israel...and to be honest, I cannot see Israel restraining itself very long if the loonies in Gaza start kicking off.

Countries like Iran, Syria etc, should NOT be allowed weapons of any type.
When are you joining up then?

Go and fight the good fight.

While I support peoples' rights to demonstrate against war - and do anything that would embarrass Gordo or taint his taking of office - I'd have nothing to do with the stopwar.org.uk brigade, they're too closely linked with the Socialist Workers' Party, the Communist Party and other subversive elements, who use these events as recruitment fairs, and jump on any bandwagon to further their profile. Steer clear.

What makes you think that Iran doesn't already have a few Nukes stashed away. they have been trading arms with Russia and the other former Eastern block countries for years!
How many of Russia's ex satelite countries sold off the Nukes from the silo's on their soil to fund their new governments. what you have to worry about is the west selling them an efficient long range delivery system.

"Under Water nobody can hear you scream"

Ps. Iraq wasn't developing scud technology just for chem & Bio weapons!

Unlike Iraw there is very active development of nuclear technologies in Iran, thanks to Bliar's good friend Putin, who, in his own words, is a true democract who sadly can't speak to someone like him since Gandie died.

Attacking Iran will be an 11th-hour attempt by the US to reassert its superpower status in a world where this is challenged by nations such as China. War now seems to be the option of choice for a country which is the world's largest debtor nation, and whose politicians regard militarism as a means of enforcing corporate interests, not least in respect of gas and oil.

There may be little prospect of us halting this descent into hell once it has begun. Bush and his sponsors will have unleashed a war of uncontrollable savagery.

I hope I am very wrong. But if this sounds crazy, and consider what those in the White House have already done in Iraq.
