if y'ou want to take in some amazing scenery then go to Santorini. Local food is mazing an people are great.
Fact: Mykonos being the 'gay' island has 365 churches(tiny ones) on it, one for each day of the year.

If you like partying then Ios is about an hour away by ferry and was the party island to end all party islands. I'm a bit out of date ( ie. old ) but I think it is still similar and attracts the hard drinking crowd rather than the druggy or trendy crowd.

Lots of things
Like some wines mate, you don't seem to travel well. Nowhere in Greece you are allowed to smash plates (unless you don't want to spend the night in your hotel room) - this may have happened a long time ago and is still happening in some Greek restaurants here that are in some sort of time-warp.
Santorini is probably the most beautiful Greek island, more beautiful than Capri, although similar type of rocky island. Beautiful sunsets (you got it) with a grand view of the sea from the island capital, the old Atlantis being reconstructed down at the Cape, trips down (not up) to the volcano (like Mt Etna, still potentially active), day-trips to Myconos (queer island) and other ones within a few hours by fast-boat. Locally produced food is excellent - das usually, don't go to where the tourists do, go where you see the locals.

Hello All,
I'm going to Santorini next week for a wedding, going to be there for two weeks, is there anything to do on the island apart from smashing some plates and watching sunsets?Tags: None
