threaded old chap, I drove down from north sweden to to central europe last weekend, took the ferry from trelleborg, while crossing Danemark on the a roads noticed lots of small red painted wooden crosses at regular intervals by the road, are they signs of previous road fatalities or something else ?

I was in round 4 of the MTB HotCup and didn't come last.

Next bicycle race for Team Threaded is the 'Nordic 24', Saturday and Sunday of next weekend. With my specialist training, courtesy of HM, I shall be on the night shift.

Has anybody here driven the motorway from Cottbuss to Wroclaw ? What a disaster, you cross over the border (into Poland) and you're onto this concrete panel two lane motorway (for the first 30kms), which is the worst condition of road I have ever driven, the ridges between the panels were so high the car was taking off and the trucks were all over the place.

The UK needs Polish construction workers.
