If you are going to the Collins I certainly wont be. Place is full of anti English pro IRA types, hence its name.
Hence originally suggesting La Mort Sorbite for that 'authentic' Belgian feel...

    I'm in

I hardly ever post here or even lurk here, but since I'm in BXL, I'd be in for a round (or two or three....) of drinks!

Snap. Looking at starting a new Dutch course so that'll be Tues/Thursday evening gone as well.

Unfortunately the way this thread seems to be going it doesn't seem as if there's going to be much of a posse (if only SallyAnne was in Brussels ).

If you still interested in a pint or two though then let me know, likewise anyone else. Either via a PM or here.

Glad to meet up with the CUK.be chapter anywhere, anytime. Perhaps a bit pedestrian, but logistically McSweeny's could suit those that must travel.
    Nice to hear jenever.

MacSweeney's? , yep that's also a possibility, also the Michael Collins which Milan suggested (round the corner so to speak).

    Suggestions:
    MacSweeney's
    Michael Collins
    O'Reillys
    La Mort Sorbite
    Zebra

A Wed or Thu, either this week or the one after next is certainly ok for me. Comments aub?

Didn't know you were back in Scotland AJP. Don't visit here that often these days so must have missed a post or two.

Beer Restaurant in Brugges? Can't say I have. Though have been to a Beer Cafe in Antwerpen with a 'menu' of a 100 or more beers. Magnums of 'Mother Superior' were quite popular when some friends came over.

Certainly if you're back here a tipple or tripple might go down well...

Excellent idea Milan, it's the Michael Collins on Avenue Louise - see you there.

Maybe the easiest option is to put up a poll with a few dates and places and see that way whats possible, when, who etc. Unfortunately I'm on my way out the door so it'll have to wait...

Mid June milan? We might have got something organised by then.
