The last time I was on the bench is was a bit chilly on the old willy. Amazing stars in the sky after several bottles of somerset's finest liver pickler.

3rd contract? Isn't that 3 strikes and you're out in the eyes of our honorable IR35 loving government? Better get trucking, if they can't find you they can't shaft you.

Well the last time I was on the bench there was the same number of jobs posted over the 6 week period I was on it as there have been today (financial year start) for my kind of roles so hopefully something will come up.

Would a third contract make be beyond doubt a bonafide contractor.

Truck driver. They must have got fed up with him camping out on the Paris Hilton motorway services (M6) waiting for her to come and give him some proper service.

5 weeks notice. They really are slacking with those toilet cleaning rosters these days.

    Aye. It was good enough.

Knowing that these can come back to bite me in the ass I can't say my theory but it revolves around a new PM wanting too much control which left me with not a lot to do - i.e. he takes on all what I was doing as well.

Edit: at least I got 5 weeks notice. If I had been tulip they would have just terminated the contract (waits to curse himself).

Time to dust off the maps, looks like i'll have to keep on trucking.

Why are they serving notice - was your work not good enough for them?
