I used to have a team leader, some Moons ago, that used to fall asleep in meetings. I remember once, when we went down to a meeting in Basingstoke once to meet with a Client, and we were sitting across a table, the Two of us on one side, and the 5 representatives of the client on the other side. I was wondering through the course of the meeting why the clients were looking at and talking at me for the majority of the time, when I eventually looked towards my Team Leader and he was alseep!!

Seeing your co-workers nod off during meetings can be amusing, but what's really hilarious is when they do a hypnic jerk. It's very, very funny

I fell asleep in a meeting one time, over in Brussels and had been out on the lash till all hours. Boring team meeting the next day, got asked a question and thought I had just shut my eyes, turns out I had been out for a couple of minutes. I was the 'young lad' on the team so no big problem, the english were all laughing, not so the belgians !

did on my first contract, long drive, late nights sorting out my wedding and a fecking boring contract meant i'd be frequently nodding off some days.
Only other times i've slept at my desk was when I was a permie, a few too many pints after work, miss the last train so i'd just sleep at the office
Also did it a few times when I was on all nighters fixing server failures

In my first job after graduating there was this bloke who came in in the morning and almost immediately went to sleep.
There was a suspicion that he was given to over-indulging in recreational drugs. No-one (apart from management) ever woke him up as he was a complete @rsehole.

I contracted for a client once who left one of their employees setting up a demo whilst they were doing a presentation to a large prospective client. When the execs all moved over to the other room for the demo this guy was fast asleep at the PC.
He go sacked, but it was very funny for everyone else.

I haven't but my ex manager used to do it alot. One day I actually took a picture of him. A team member was also showing him how to do pivot tables - for the 500th time. He actually fell asleep during the training.
He was eventually made redundant.
