I lived in the US for 5 years and one project I ran was in Pleasanton, CA - just on the east bay near Oakland. I loved it there. I had a small apartment in San Ramon and it was fantastic.
I even rented a Harley one weekend and went out riding with a friend of mine. We went up over the Golden Gate into the hills around Sorsalito (appalling spelling I know!!
). Loved going to the fish restaurants near Pier 39.
I would go in a heart beat.
